Netflix to premiere docuseries from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Netflix will release Polo, a series in which Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will reveal the behind-the-scenes lives of elite polo players and show the championship in Florida.

Netflix has released a trailer for the five-part docuseries Polo, which was developed by Archewell Productions, the company founded by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The couple became executive producers of the project, People reports.

The series is scheduled to premiere on December 10. It tells the story of elite athletes competing in the US Open polo championship, which is held in Wellington, Florida.

“This series offers viewers an unprecedented look behind the scenes at the passion and determination that drives some of the world’s elite polo players, revealing the grit behind the glamour. We pride ourselves on showcasing the true depth and spirit of the sport,” said Prince Harry.

The series will feature legendary players, including Nacho Figueras, a long-time friend of Prince Harry’s who also serves as a consulting producer on the show. Other cast members include Adolfo Cambiasso, who has been hailed as one of the greatest polo players of all time.
