Retired General Keith Kellogg presented Trump with a plan to end the Russian-Ukrainian war.

US President-elect Donald Trump has selected retired General Keith Kellogg as his special envoy for resolving Russia’s war against Ukraine. The politician announced this on the Truth Social social network on Wednesday, November 27.

Trump said that Kellogg “has an outstanding military and business career,” including experience in the field of national security.

“Together, we will secure peace through strength and make America and the world safe again!” – the politician added.

Retired Lieutenant General, Vietnam War veteran Kellogg held high positions in the Trump administration from 2017 to 2021. In particular, he was the head of the National Security Council and national security advisor to Vice President Mike Pence.

According to Reuters, Kellogg previously proposed his plan to end the war in Ukraine, which stipulates that the supply of American weapons to Kyiv will continue only on condition that Ukraine agrees to peace talks with Russia.

At the same time, the United States is ready to warn Moscow about the consequences of refusing to negotiate, including increased support for Kyiv. The plan also provides for removing the issue of Ukraine’s membership in NATO from the agenda for the foreseeable future.

Kellogg currently works at the pro-Trump center America First Policy Institute, where he has put forward various proposals for what the national security policy of the future Trump administration could be.

Recall, Trump said that his administration would focus on Russia’s war against Ukraine. It must stop.
